TAMPEP considers migrant sex workers to be agents of social change, and in doing so recognises their cultural identity and their right to contribute to the development of effective policies and services.
In addition to the oral intervention, we have submitted TAMPEP Network’s position paper in response to the Concept Note prepared for CEDAW (Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women) on its elaboration of a General Recommendation on Trafficking in Women and Girls in the Context of Global Migration.
