Feminists for Sex Workers’ Rights launched a petition and manifesto calling on the Spanish government to repeal the ‘Anteproyecto de Ley Orgánica de Garantía Integral sobre la Libertad Sexual’. The text was
presented as a recognition of the feminist consensus on legal changes around sexual violence. However, the second draft presented in October 2020 broke this consensus, criminalising people involved in sex work. The manifesto call the society, and especially the feminist movement, is urgently aware of the consequences that this law may have on women who voluntarily engage in sex work. You can join the manifesto as collectives, organisations or as individuals.
