Yesterday, 9 April 2013, La Strada International took part in the launch of the Global Human Trafficking Hotline Network in Washington, DC, USA. The network is financially supported by the Google Impact Awards and starts with a partnership between LSI, the Polaris Project (USA) and Libery Asia (Hong Kong). The aim of the network is to analyse the data from calls received at anti-trafficking hotlines in USA, Europe and Asia, identify trends, provide better assistance and support to trafficked persons and, ultimately, reduce human trafficking. www.lastradainternational.org
